As you all know, Adam is representing the community at Konami’s PES2013 press event which is being held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Below are some pictures and tweets compliments of the man himself. We will updating this post as the event unfolds, so check back to see if anything new crops up..

In case you’re wondering, the press tour is in Brazil this year to celebrate the enormous sales success of the game in that part of the world.

If you’re part of those sites keep an eye on them over the next few weeks for lots of PES 2013 information. If you don’t visit them, make sure you keep an eye out from now on.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH this morning shed light on the next free downloadable content for PES 2012.

The download will be released for PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360(R) and Windows PC on April 27th, and enhances the game’s use of the Copa Santander Libertadores licence. The DLC will introduce a dedicated ‘Copa Santander Libertadores 2012’ game mode, with all the 38 teams, rosters and the official ball for the 2012 competition brought fully up to date.

The DLC also refines selected parts of the game for a more fluid gaming experience. April 27th suddenly seems a lifetime away!

Online retailer ShopTo have revealed their PES2013 pre-order deals, only minutes after the official unveiling of this years latest offering in the PES franchise. Click HERE for all the details.

In addition to the press release officially announcing PES2013, Konami have also released the first 10 screens featuring the games cover star Cristiano Ronaldo. Full resolution versions of each screen can be found in the gallery at the bottom of the page.

Now, the layout of these screens should make it clear that these are rendered compositions and not lifted directly from gameplay but note how some shots are of the same movement/action, only taken from a different view. Could this mean that while the screens themselves are not lifted directly from gameplay, then the renders have been lifted directly from a development test-bed? One thing is for sure, these screens do capture some of the cover stars real life characteristics and movement. Friends of WENB, PES Kings performed a little photoshop trickery with the screen used in our header and came up with this…

The player model seems more in proportion and overall more accurate than that found in last years game. Time will tell how well these assets will transfer over into the final game but as standalone screens, they ain’t half bad. It is an absolute certainty that over the coming months more screenshots will be released that will be lifted directly from the game, so these serve as a nice wee taster in the meantime.
