First PES2012 Rumours Surface!
Yep, you have read that right!
With PES2011 hitting stores worldwide PSM3 have already started talking PES2012, with Decembers issue (in stores now!) containing a wee heads up as to what will potentially feature in next years game.
Hidden at the very end of the magazines The Insider section the following is written :
Finally, PES2012 plans are afoot , with whispers of a more seamless, less cut-scene heavy, experience, plus new uses for the effectively redundant d-pad. Run prompts? Yes, please.
Is this a nod to continuous play and yet more tactical/control options in the pipeline? Time will tell.
Personally, run prompts would not be would top of my list regards use of the d-pad but it is heartening to hear that the team might well be envisioning a better use it in future editions. It also could suggest further enhancements to dribbling control as a whole.

There’s no lag online but quite a few games can be sluggish, i dont believe internet connection is the problem, but dedicated servers like FIFA has. I would also like slow defenders to stop catching players like walcott when chasing a through ball nesta catching eto’o?…. not very realistic… other than that the game is great, a real step forward from previous titles

Hi Konami, please bring “REALISM” in your next edition 2012. Like hair movements while running, loose jerseys (now it is like, pasted on the body), player expressions.. like… this will give awesome look in the game. and camera angles, expressions from Coach, players warming up the sideline..lot more to say…will come back

fix the slide tackles so that you dont give away a foul everytime you do a perfectly good slide tackle… fix online laggin… bring back the good camera angles.. get rid of automatic kick off… get rid of the stupid skills where players flick the ball over there own head and the opponents then collect the ball on the other side without getting tackled as this never happens in real life but works everytime in the game… dont waste time on creating new flash menus that no one cares about and get key points like the goalkeepers RIGHT! they parry the ball way too much and usually straight into the danger zone

THIS SHOWS HOW BAD PES 2011 IS BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY DISCUSSING THE NEXT TITLE. I KNOW KONAMI HAVE MADE A LOSS WITH PES 2011 AND CRAPPY FIFA IS ON TOP AGAIN WHICH IS PATHETIC. OH YEAH THIS IS COMING FROM A PES FAN BOY UNTIL 10 TH OCT 2011. Now im considering buying an older pes game like pes 9 or pes 10 to keep me going until next year. Konami needs to step up there game. If they could base the foundation of pes 2012 from pes 6 then they will have a good year. If they can fix the button configureration and especially the slow dribble which should be on the side triggers of the pad for gods sake! Then i’ll consider pes 2012 but seriously there is alot of work that needs to be done.

I nice inprovement could be implemented in throw-ins.
Suppose the ball barely crosses the line, to continue play, the closest player should run over to pick it up and then throw it, just to keep the game moving quickly.
Also, since you’re able to see managers regularly in the game (Like BAL) I think there should be a manager editor for teams, so you can make a similar appearance to real life managers.

good choice? more like obvious choice, really. And something that shouldve been addressed long ago.

Whats the point telling us whats gonna be on PES 2012 when we heard all this last year and theres nothing on PES 2011 when they said there would be. Net Editor Unlimited Slots and the rest stop lying Seabass.
Johnny says:
I use the D pad!!! I kick ass with it too!!
Mark says:
As Merones mentoined already, “the bug that a player completely forgets where the ball is, even when it’s right in front of them and then they run off to the right side or somewhere else”. Spoils the fun completely for me. Pleas please fix this issue first for 2011 instead of steaming up the marketing engine for 2012.

konami needs to go back to old PK system, fix the fouls and the jostling between players, fix the one time headers and shots to goal, and make players release shots and passes quicker. Shots taken under pressure need to be more realistic, right now they just look silly. Players have to guard their ball and not be dispossessed so easily, better dribbling would probably help.A.I needs work as well. The players need to stop sliding automatically and giving away stupid fouls, more intelligent runs on and off the ball. Its like they fired the guy who made the PES 5 & 6. STOP CHANGING things that we dont complain about konami, a lot of us still use the directional pad to move. Change that and we all move to FIFA
G-fuss says:
P.S The A.I stops on a dime in Top Player, that’s unrealistic there has to be some momentum, and they don’t respond to fake shots any more……………..this game could be great if it wasn’t so sloppy, you guys obviously don’t even play your own games anymore.
Kenmasters says:
1. Long throws take way to long… when a long through is first executed… the opposition has enough time to get a player infront of your receiving player.
2. overhead kicks, (bycicle kicks) look way to unrealistic and happen way to much…
3. the introduction of Inverse kinematics as a means of connecting players to the ball is not executed well. what i loved about evo was that you had to be in the right place at the right time and press a button at the right time when the ball was near you… now it seems like fifa Inverse kinematics are driving the execution and detection from foot to ball. this is what i hated about fifa and now evo has included this.. But deep down PES2011 as a game is amazing! :)
