First PES2012 Rumours Surface!
Yep, you have read that right!
With PES2011 hitting stores worldwide PSM3 have already started talking PES2012, with Decembers issue (in stores now!) containing a wee heads up as to what will potentially feature in next years game.
Hidden at the very end of the magazines The Insider section the following is written :
Finally, PES2012 plans are afoot , with whispers of a more seamless, less cut-scene heavy, experience, plus new uses for the effectively redundant d-pad. Run prompts? Yes, please.
Is this a nod to continuous play and yet more tactical/control options in the pipeline? Time will tell.
Personally, run prompts would not be would top of my list regards use of the d-pad but it is heartening to hear that the team might well be envisioning a better use it in future editions. It also could suggest further enhancements to dribbling control as a whole.
Boris Lozac says:
No, don’t touch my d-pad!
originalproman says:
I STILL PREFER TO USE DA D PAD
kimcorecoba says:
okay someone explain to me.are they saying there will be less cutscenes, and that it would look like fifa?if so please konami halt in that decision cause it another reason fifa gets boring after a while.instead add more but in a realist manner with realistic animations.
Rage06 says:
‘Less cut-scene’ :D
Seabass did say that his future plans for pes is to have less Cut-scenes and more seemless play so the continuous play part is definately true :)
More tactics using d-pad? Yes please ^^
turki pes says:
By the way if you unlock all the classical players and teams and use the transfer option to transfer them to other teams they will be a part of the option file that you can give to anyone
Caniggia says:
Where we are heading, there’s no end to creativity ;)
rizaru says:
solve the lag problem in online mode please. :(
booby dazzler says:
knowing konami they will use the dpad for activating cut scenes or pumpkin heads what ever next konami
Cem says:
Great news, I think it’s a good choice to have less cut scenes and more seemless play. PES does not need scripted events (like FIFA has). Goalkeepers need to respond much quicker and I’d like Konami to get red of replays completely (or at least let users select this as an option in the settings) too.
In addition why not get rid of the power bar too? PES 2012 needs to be a solid and “back to basics” game with tight controls and gameplay. Oh, and while we’re at it: please let us also configure individual player settings! Never change a winning formula Konami, don’t mess with the good things!
Morenos Hiroshi says:
Just fix the bugs. I cringe everytime I see a player completely forgetting where the ball is, even when it’s right in front of them and then they run off to the right side or somewhere else. And need I mention the awful advantage system, where players routinely get away with horrible fouls?
xchrisch says:
and please give us the ablility to change clubs in master league…
christos21 says:
Online needs more fixing.I hope PES 2012 ends the annoying laggg
Andrew says:
where is this lag??? honestly? i have been playing online since this game came out, mostly mlo with the quick match setting which i was always against but since starting, i think av played about 100 games and maybe 2 or 3 have had bad lag. LAG IS A PLAYER ISSUE! why cant people understand this, it clearly tells you that you are hosting the game alone side the other player, the fact that people with a bad connection cant even get into online game modes is fabulous if u ask me!
Christos21, heres an idea…get a better internet connection and your lag should go away!
Andrew says:
completely agree with Morenos Hiroshi tho, its annoying as hell when this happens, tho i do think that it wouldnt do that if u used manual, instead of semi-assisted or assisted, if i am wrong with that then somebody say as i havent played manual in this one yet, i will be trying it tho.
Trivo says:
less cutscenes would be very nice, I hate that every foul gets a replay…
But the first thing that needs to be changed is the penalty system. I mean, the penealty system in PES6 was perfect. Why change it into the nowadays not working system… Even Fifa added a strange extra bar into his penalty system whats not working… Why do both have such a bad penalty system?
prabs says:
not witnessed any lag at all tbh
casperld says:
I too have played many online games from the US to Europe with no lag whatsoever. The first things PES 2012 must focus on are: Goalkeepers! Way too many splilled shot resulting in a rebound goal. Player switching, the penalty system is horrible and the side angle is just stupid. Animations, much improved this year but still need much improving. Referee decisions, go back and look how PES 6 referees were, they are perfect in that game. Continuous play sounds great.
These are the first things that should be addressed.
Trivo says:
You’re right about the referee’s: Why did they ever took out the advantage rule.. and why don’t players get a card afterwards when the play continiuous, like in PES6?! And of course the penalty system is horrible!
alloush9 says:
animations animation animations..these are the priority for now, as pes still feel kinda robotic and clunky
kimcorecoba says:
no cutscenes?like in fifa?is that okay.someone explain to me.are we going to see less pre rendered scenes so that all close up are actually what is going on on the pitch like celbrations?
