How To Set Up MyPES
Start using the Facebook app to keep track of results with friends.
Apparently the myPES community have scored over 3.5 million goals. That’s a lot. And seems more than I expected because it’s not something the community at large talks about.
To try and bridge that gap, and inform those who know little about it, Konami have posted up a step-by-step guide on their official website.

Lovely Redman, just great. Getting all ethical when you have no idea what the context is.
Barcahater2 is someone who comments alot on the front page, loves to bare the negatives, and make sure we are reminded every time we have a new post on the front page.
He’s also, as he will tell you many times, been banned from our forums.
Best things to do is let us moderate, as sometimes you have no clue what’s going on.

Jokes aside, would you know if KONAMI have considered doing a PES 6 HD? I went and bought the game for 75p from CEX today.
I couldn’t stop smiling whilst playing. Everything about the game was awesome. Aside from graphics and passing the game has definitely gone backwards.
I’m sure PES 6 HD would sell like hot cakes giving them more money to spend on PES 2013/14/15.

I think Winning Eleven Online is them trialing that, although I have asked Konami if they intend to bring to Europe, and they said no.
I’ve popped it down as an idea for content used as a pre-order incentive, or even LTD edition version. We’ll see how it goes. If it’s not hard to do then they should do it.
I wished the iPhone/iPad versions would be like that, but they are really poor.

What I feel that would certainly be popular, would be a PES 6 HD (remix) -That is to say something like “Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD remix” – where their programmers not only took the original game -and turned it into HD…
but ALSO added in some important tweaks to balance out and update the game play.
I feel that this idea is the least that Konami could produce – seeing as – to me – PES 2012 VERSION 1.03
wont last much longer as an enjoyable, balanced or complete game – I am already feeling reluctant to play it.
@ Kitana – I can understand your frustration with Barcahater2 if you feel that he has been overly repeating himself.
HOWEVER – You are running a public website and refering to one of your customers as “prat” is unprofessional behaviour!
Surely either Barcahater2 has the right to express his freedom of speech, in which case you will have to accept his repetitions. Or if the rules of this website allow you to edit bloggers – then may I suggest you just delete his entries – or perhaps kindly ask that he stops repeating himself – either way, humiliating him is not the answer.
Personally, I wish to fight for the FACT that many gamers agree that sadly in PES 2012 version 1.03 Konami has not properly rectified the shooting command input and gaming outcome programming –
because this worked fine in PES 2011, I know it can be fixed.
I shall continue to express my freedom of speech and repeatedly campaign for a 4th patch.
Am I going to be called a “prat” or deleted for that?

I wouldn’t want a pes 6 “remix.” They would only go mess up things that didn’t need fixing. Graphics and team updates would do just fine.

As someone who doesn’t play online, I’d love it if MyPES simply recorded and displayed all games regardless of the opponent. When it was first announced I thought it would simply be my ‘Track Record’ stats made public so that everyone could see.
Sadly I was mistaken and hopefully Konami implement games against the AI for next years MyPES.

@ Taz – Maybe you are right – you do not trust Konami’s tinkering – but what about the patch people from the UK? The fans here who post in the forums and do game editing like – shollym and jenky etc you are welcome to google them if i have confused you.
@ Everyone – its not just the shooting system that we should ask to have patched – there are still a number of other important issues I have noticed – please feel free to agree or disagree with the following:
1. Shooting – recap – shooting ball physics + shooting control over direction + impact of shooting stats of players + only players with shot accuracy over 85 seem worth shooting with – very disappointing to shoot with someone who has shot accuracy 75 or lower – which is unfair and unrealistic
2. Cursor switching
in certain areas of the pitch or situations does not work.
sometimes even with all settings switched off you cant cursor select one of your team mates –
then the ai either dribbles player for you
or clears the ball for you
or does nothing and stands there
There should be consistent backup automatic cursor switch if the ball comes to your player
just remembered another example sometimes you cant get your attacker to strike a first time volley when the ball deflects out of the box from the opposition defence becuase the cursor switch fails
3. CPU scripting
4. CPU’s dribbing ability
5. Goal Keepers could still do with more work
6. Defensive AI – Marking players needs work
Attacking AI – Forward runs
Sorry for babbling so much – I care – and I want to gather an official petition for a 4th patch

I’m installing the Sholym patch as we speak. Yeh you’re right, I don’t trust KONAMI’s tinkering. Can you blame me?

Use the community mode for that fella. It’s for offline and online, and collates stats for matches.
Ok it’s confined to that particular mode only, but is a nice addition.
