@strikerx10 – you sort of contradict yourself as you say how they don’t know marketing about the limited amount of info but say looking forward to future release, looks like they’ve sucked you in and deployed their marketing in your case.
I didn’t expect 12 to be a massive overhaul as 11 was the massive overhaul, it was a great foundation in theory though it felt like they tried overhauling too much, was rushed to produce the best result and ended up releasing a quite buggy and cagey game, this one looks a lot better. Don’t get me wrong 2011 was a decent game just heavily rushed and too much overhauling just reduced its true potential
The right stick feature is a good adopted feature, ai looks alot better and posistioning and off the ball movement look more realistc to real football. The first touch and transistion between them look faster and more fluid which will also take the caginess away.
2012 looks promising but its how konami play their cards, i wont be entirely convince till full uncut gameplay or demo is available though as the background footage looked like coach mode/pre pressing start match footage, and the proof will be in the pudding

People got to stop hating on PES and Seabass and the rest of
the KONAMI team lets remember who set the standard for footballing games , People are quick to forget PES was the greatest football game ever.
Ye they had there big problems when they hit next gen and I was the first one to criticise them because the level of simulation was shocking , PES 2011 made huge steps my problem was goalkeepers , shooting , and constant replays for every little free kick , But if you really new your football you could see they were trying there best to implement a new core gameplay to the game.
Also remember that KONAMI development team and the company in general haven’t got near as much money as EA , EA have a way way wayyyy bigger budget to pour new things into there game , KONAMI do there best with what they have so hats off to them. They have to compete with a company that has these crazy amount of licences , exclusive licensing is a joke !! Give both companies the licences , a so called level playing field and I wonder how many people would buy PES then because the casual football gamer only buys FIFA because of the licence thats a fact
FIFA is and has been a better game than the PES franchise on next gen no doubt about it , But as a football fan and thats what we all are , we should appreciate PES for what it is and also what it WAS ! They set the simulation footballing standard.
So I hope shooting , goalkeepers and some AI issues are tweaked and I’ll be happy. Because there doing there best with what they have and every year there against a mega company in EA.

Interesting video, i thought PES 2011 was realistic enough, PES 2012 could be even more realistic if Konami get it right, this years gameplay has been an improvement, looks like it could get a lot better for release in October. Looking forward to see what they have done with matchday atmosphere, this has been lacking for a long time!

letter to KONAMI and to Mr. Seabass:
im really missed many things in international superstar
soccer. i hope they are added in PES 2012.
01. there was PK mode and there were ALL STARS TEAMS
(around 8 teams)
03. (one on one) mode in superstar soccer 3. it can be optional but its really intersting element.
watch the video 01:58 and read the comments all positives
05. last opinion, why there is no dynamic background.
for example if you play ML and if you choose any mode the background has to be changed. like if you choose trainning mode,
it has to show some players running around the field or doing excersices.
we have to live the team atmosphere.
if there are CAM RECORDERs take the team events that you can follow any update by changing the CAM. like if you have injury player you can watch him till he recover. you can watch any activities like scout office if there is any scouting. dressing room. coach elc.
FINALLY:
please consider these elements to return PES fans back otherwise
it will be big disappointing.
I really missed the old games WHY Mr. seabass. WHY
Im really appreciate what you are doing but PLZ dont forget the past games you have to add all ideas to bring the fans.
i dont care the licenses, teams or tournaments.
what we wants is (intersting elements)
PES 2011 was big jump and we noticed that it takes alot of improving. I like PES since WE in PS1 J-LEAGE
PLEASE KITANA MEDIA.
they need our help and seggestions as they said.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i hope my message can reach there.
I really like the emphasis on fine tuning gameplay. Yet it would be nice to have a hint of other things, stuff like new teams or leagues or other stuff like the crowd chants and stuff.
And yes, I’m aware SeaBass did mention he will reveal more in the next opportunity he gets and the fact that he did hint more game modes but it would have been nice to hear about more than just gameplay.
Anyway, PES2012 looks okay at the moment. I chose FIFA11 this year so I haven’t the faintest idea of how PES2011 played (Apart from playing a few games of the demo). Hopefully this year Konami can persuade me to come back to PES, but EA aren’t do to bad at their end either!
how many of you actually was concentrating on gameplay in background than seabass’s words looool

The pass at 2:45 .. fine , the off the ball attacker is making a run towards the box the cpu player is making a covering run back, so far so good. The attacking teams player on the ball is getting ready to make a pass, the cpu player that was running back with the attacker, lets him go and pivots to a stop to turn to face the ball carrier .. again so far so good. As he is making his piovted stop and turn, the ball carrier plays the ball past the turning cpu player, beaten hands down. But that run back and pivoted turn which would stop that player does not, as the ball is played into the box, the cpu player that let his man go to turn and stop and face the ball carrier, does the pivot turn and the ball is going past him as he does.. So what does he do , stop as you would running one way and suddenly stopping and turning, he turns and then as the ball is already on the way past him, he turns and now facing forward he turns and runs 4-5 yards away from the box …
WHY ? … Playing football, running back then suddenly stopping doing a pivoted turn, would stop you dead and if the ball was already past you .. Why ? would after turning suddenly run 4-5 yards away from where you did this stop and turn when the ball is already in behind you ..
