PES 2016 – First 30 Minutes of Master League

Konami has improved the Master League in PES 2016, and it’s pretty good. With that in mind, we thought we’d take you through the first 30 minutes of it.

I’m joined by Gari as we talk over some of our captured footage. Yours truly explains what exactly is going, sharing my thoughts on the mode in the process.

It’s a PES 2016 bonanza. Enjoy!

  1. Looks quite good….better than I thought it may be (I was worried the changes would be fairly…not impactful). I like the stats section, I can see it being useful in that you can adjust the way you play as you identify weak areas.

I like the streamlined transfer system a bit (adds an element of risk to it, whether loweing wages etc will work etc). Also with you having less negotiating yourself it makes it feel like you actually have a scouts whose job it is to do the negotiating, which I think works and helps you feel like you are just one part of the team.

    A couple of questions:
    – There were a couple of examples of odd valuations in the video. And in 2015 other teams try and buy your players for very low amounts sometimes. How does that feel overall?

    – I presume players resetting after retiring etc is as it was previously?

    – Is there injuries this year? Or any way to check if there is?

  2. I like the way the new Master League looks like on the video. The only thing that bothers me are the transfers and fees. Marco Reus will never go to Sampdoria and if he moves the sum will be much more than on the video. Also, no one is going to pay over 10 million from 38-year-old Antonio Di Natale due to his age.

Can anyone predict if these things will change with updates or edit files with Bundesliga clubs etc? I would really much like to change FIFA for PES this year and the career mode is the main thing for me. This is why I would like to have it as realistic as it can be.
