PES2011 Demo available now!
Playstation Plus Subscribers can access the demo for PES2011 as of now by just following these few simple steps :
- Go to System Settings on the XMB dash.
- Select Automatic Download and set to on.
- Follow the on screen instructions. Make sure you select the 2hr time time window that you are currently in when setting up.
- Switch off the PS3 and restart. Ensure Automatic login is enabled in your profile just in case.
- You will be advised that content is currently downloading. Have a wee look at Download Management and you should see the demo is downloading.
Please be advised this was tested on a UK PSN account. If you are overseas this function might not work as yet but be patient.
A nice wee surprise this.

Make sure to wait a bit after the restart on the “Automatic download is in progress” screen to give it a chance to login/ verify account/ start the download etc, otherwise it won’t start.

Damn I am in US and I can’t even buy PS+ for UK account (I guess it needs UK credit card). Anyone has PS+ in US can download it with other account in UK? Is it worth it anyway to burn 17USD just to get the demo? Is the demo really good?

I am writing this message with disappointment, after playing the demo for several hours i can safely say that i will not be buying this game, i waited for months in eager anticipation to play this game and after hearing so so many positive reviews and compliments i am left feeling slightly betrayed. in my brutally honest opinion this is not a good game, its not even close to being a good game. yes it “looks” fantastic but plays very poorly, the players are so unresponsive its laughable and the new passing system is an annoyance. i think EA have absolutely nothing to worry about and i am predicting fifa 11 will wipe the floor with Konamis latest installment. and dont think that im a fifa fanboy because im not, i used to love PES but every year my love fades and like so many premiership footballers these days i find myself straying. i fear for the future of PES i really do.
