Surveys. They’ve become a prominent thing publishers are using to gain feedback. Thing is, they usually are vague, and never give you the confidence that they understand the key issues as the things you want to feedback are never really brought up.

Scrap that!

The latest PES survey from Konami is fantastic, touching on a variety of elements we all have a say on. Online, GoalKeeper animations, Pass support, Edit Mode improvements, DLC etc etc, everything I know you all want to feedback on.

So please, take the time to fill this out, it won’t take long and I’m sure you’ll feel satisfied once complete. Click here to start.

Thanks.

Xmas comes early…

Konami have just dropped a rather huge bombshell into the WENB inbox as we got ready to settle into our weekend by informing us that passing lobbies for PES2012 online play are on the way! The little heads-up we received from Jon Murphy reads :

“The addition of the pass lobbies comes thanks to the assistance of all at WENB. We’re delighted to be able to react to the needs of our fans, and this is yet another great example of us working with the PES community to benefit the game.”

We have been advised that full details will follow sometime next week regards this much desired inclusion, which has come to us off the back of a feedback initiative that was spearheaded by WENB, yet was only able to gather momentum thanks to our committed and very active community. This of course is but one issue addressed off the back of such a WENB community driven exercise but goes to show that respectful and well organised feedback will be considered and potentially acted upon by the folks at Konami.

WENB would like to thank all for their input over these last few months as without the community our desire to act as the fans voice would not be possible.

Be sure to check back next week for the full scoop but in the meantime be sure to give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done!

Yep. It’s true. This is the last podcast of this series. It’s been a crazy 6 months, but we all have the game, and are either playing it or talking about it on forums.

A lot of things have been spoken about in the last few weeks, and myself and Alan get stuck in to the key topics. We also let off some steam, as we tell you guys how we really feel! From patches, to selfish gamers, to issues with individuality and even feedback, we really do go all out.

A great way to end this podcasting year, we hope you agree.

Enjoy, and thanks for your support!

Feedback for this years game has come to a close, as a new way to let Konami what you think of the game is just weeks away.

First of all, a massive thanks to everyone for their dedication in contributing to the official feedback section, in a bid to get PES back to it’s best. With a few weeks left until PES 2012 is announced, we’ve decided to close the section now as realistically we’ve reached a cut off point of what can and can’t be added to the game before launch.

But don’t fret!

Konami are set to launch a new way of how users can feedback ongoing announcements very soon, meaning you can give your reaction to news and pose ideas as soon as it’s up and running. We’ll also be focusing on feedback on ongoing announcements in the news and discussion section part of the forums, so your voice won’t be lost. And looking ahead to September/October, we’ll reopen the official feedback section dedicated to PES 2013!

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Dont let your thoughts get lost in translation!

First of all, huge thanks to everyone who have got involved with our feedback section for PES 2012. It’s been amazing, with lots of people giving us their thoughts. What we’ll be doing over the next few weeks is collating all the data and feeding it back to Konami/Jon Murphy.

After some conversations with Konami UK, however, they have warned us about bringing long indepth paragraphs to the table. It might sound blatantly obvious, but with the WEP team being Japanese, these sort of things can sometimes be difficult to translate. What we don’t want is anything getting lost in translation.

So what we need? Videos and pictures! Especially pictures!

Luckily, some of you have been already posting pictures with their feedback suggestions (user K-Jay for e.g.). This is especially vital, as it’s easy to see what we’re getting at without any issue of being unable to speak a certain language.

So to set you on your way, here’s some examples:

Lots of edit mode feedback, especially from people who want to see old things returning. Why not take pictures of things like neckwarmers, low socks, boot editor from PES6? Then there’s things like being able to mix shorts and socks. Why not take pics of this from PES5? Finally there’s the much talked about attacking and defensive arrows you can set to an individual player. Again, why not use an older PES game to show this?

The example are literally endless, but I’m hoping it’s easy enough for all to create. As an added incentive to do this, and to stop the threads getting clogged up with too many pics, feel free to send all examples to wenbpes2012@gmail.com.

We’ll be sending the first feedback doc before the new year.

Thanks again for all your input!

It’s THE place to get all your thoughts and wish-lists for next years PES. From ideas on modes and features, to graphical and gameplay influence, the floor is open to get what you want in the game – especially as Konami have proven they are listening.

We’re also letting you guys dictate the section this year. Rather than try to have set threads (although there are a few) we’ll let the community decide on the pressing issues.
