Our good friends PESKings have just posted up on their twitter page that the iPhone version of PES 2011 has been given an update, that covers winter transfers and adds achievements and leaderboards.

Just a quick heads up to let you all know PES 2011 on the iPhone is now on sale in European App Stores. In the UK, it’s now just £2.39. It’s only for a limited time, so make sure you pick up yours soon!

PES 2010 iPhone Released!

PES 2010 on iPhone has been released, available for £5.99 from the app store. Huge thanks to PES-KINGS for the news!

The new and upcoming fansite has posted up 29 screens for your viewing pleasure, and is taking questions from the fans on the game.

The Konami blog has been updated with some more chatter about PES 2010 iPhone. Great timing, what with the hype right now for the new iPhone 4 going around.

I’m really warming to Axel, producer of the soon to be released iPhone version of PES 2010. Don’t get me wrong, I still think he’s a bit crazy, but he certainly knows his football.

More PES 2010 iPhone/Touch Goodness

Crazy Alex has updated the blog, with talk of pizza, camera angles, and of course the soon to be released PES 2010 iPhone /iPod touch version. We also got to see the first gameplay screens too.

Also on a side note, the release of WE Blue Samurai in Japan has proved to be quite successful. The PS3 version charted in no. 3, selling 67,000 copies. While thats a small number in respect to what us Europeans are used to, it’s a decent figure in Japan. Compare that to the 10,000 copies EA sold of the official WC game in the same country, it goes to show how strong the Winning Eleven brand remains in its own back yard.

Better news was that all the versions made the chart, with the PSP (no. 6), PS2 (no. 9) and Wii (no. 15) versions doing well too. Click here for the full chart.

The official Konami blog has been updated by our good friend Axel, this time discussing the way they’ve tried to utilise the iPhone’s unique controls, to create a very unique experience.

PES 2010 iPhone Gunning For PSP Quality

A few days ago we spoke about PES coming to iPhone and iPod Touch, and today we got some more details from the official blog on the product. The best news to take from the post is that they are using the PSP versions as the benchmark of what they can/should achieve.

Oh, and the post also confirms producer Axel is indeed crazy. And the fact he loves PES. I know, total surprise.

PES 2010 Coming To iPhone

No, I don’t mean the aleady released app, I mean a proper PES game for the iPhone!

Coming in June, its a full fledged 3D footy game, that includes a majority of gamplay modes that can be found in the normal console versions.

I’m just praying it plays like the old PS2 PES games. If so, I’m going to have carry by phone charger with me everywhere!
