Something WENB has stayed away from is the online tournaments and competitions. Some what down to the perceived quality of the online experience, and because it’s not something we’re known for.
In an effort to change this, staff member danny275 has decided to try and get the WENB community involved in PES 2010 online tournaments. So here’s the deal:
We’ll have a competition starting on the 31st January. Each round will last 3 days (i.e You have 3 days to play your match). We need either 8 or 16 people. In the event that we get less than 16 but more than 8, the first 8 people in here who have said they’ll enter will be in the competition. Currently the tournament is for PS3 users.
Simple as. We’ll see how it goes, and if the community is indeed open to online tournaments we’ll do more. You never know, if it REALLY takes off we could do something with PESRANKINGS.

Online has been discussed in vast detail by many people after the two years of unaccessible online for most.
The guys at Videogameszone recorded a video that lasts nearly 10mins going through the online beta tests, showing off lag-less gameplay!

Live in the UK? Well through official Konami fansite PESFan, you can register your interest in an attempt to take part in the online tests for PES 2010!
They’ll be selecting a number of people randomly from replies on their post, so if you want to take part click here and register!
We’ll be involved in the test, fingers crossed we get a chance to have you guys a game ;)

Massive news from the Tokyo Games Show! Our man on the floor fernando_we sent me an email with this incredible news!
Let me tell you that they had online play test machines. You played from the Konami booth against someone at the SCEJ booth. And the games seems to be even slower pace. No lag whatsoever…
While its difficult to predict whether this will be the case when the game officially launches, its great to hear Konami are conducting online tests at an open event.
