The new issue of OPM, released September 29th, has a page interview with Seabass that should get PES fans very excited. One of the questions put to the PES creator was regarding the work going into PES between now and launch, and as you can see from the header Seabass claims he’s still tweaking the game. He goes on to mention how feedback is still being implemented, and when the game hits it should be refined a great deal compared to what everyone is playing now.
This goes hand-in-hand with the fact that the magazine still has no review of the game yet, even though by the time the next issue hits the game will be out. I have a feeling it’s down to the fact they wanted to see the finished game before giving it a score.
And rightly so.

All this is very reassuring, and bodes well for the run-in to launch. There’s loads more details regarding PES 2010 coming in the weeks ahead so stay tuned!

Just received the latest Official PlayStation Magazine, released August 4th, and they have a few interesting articles on PES. The first is a preview of PES 2010, that quite frankly tells us nothing new at all. It reminds me of a miniaturized version of the PSM3 preview.
Secondly they have an interesting face-off between FIFA 09 & PES 2009, discussing how they stand against the test of time.
Other than that nothing new here – Gamescom it is then!

A really interesting article about PES 2010 can be found in the latest Official PlayStation Magazine, released June 9th.
PBS, for those who haven’t already guessed by the header, is a baseball game. Called Pro Baseball Spirits (PBS; Konami love their abbreviations), its been one of the games coming out from Konami that has done itself justice on the nextgen platform. The guys at OPM discuss how the quaility of the most recent PES 2010 screens lend themselves to the baseball game, and proves that in-house tech sharing is going on behind the scenes. Have to say was an interesting read, make sure you check it out next week on the news stands.
Aside from that nothing news worthy (PES related) in the latest magazine. Looks like we’re going to have to look forward to July 9th, when PSM3 finally get their hands-on!
