Just got back into the country late last night, and waiting for me was the latest issue of PSM3. Being January many magazines are running 2010 previews, and PSM3 is no different. Nestled in the feature is an article focused on 5 things they personally want to see improved for PES 2011 (and FIFA 11).
Those 5 things are:
Revamp The Animation
Innovate In BAL
Make Master League More Realistic
Rework Trick System and Dribbling
Make Online Less Predictable
With each wish they’ve detailed exactly what they want to see improved. And when you read the entire article you’ll realise that most of the things written echo much of what the fans want also. It becomes even more warming knowing that this is coming from the most influential magazine regarding PES out there.
With the fans and PSM3 on the same page, fingers crossed one unified voice is heard much more clearer.

The latest issue of PSM3 has been on the shelves for a few weeks now, but we only just spotted something very interesting regarding the PES series.
Tucked away in the magazine is a big reveal, showing an image of a q&a document Konami handed out to press recently, asking for feedback on PES 2010 and what direction they should take for the next version. The writers at PSM3 then dissect certain elements mentioned, giving their take on what should be focused on.
Rather than being our usual cryptic selves when posting about magazine articles, it gives me great pleasure to be able to show you a scan of this document. Thats thanks to editor of PSM3 Dan Dawkins giving us the go ahead! (click on the pic to enlarge):

As always, anything PSM3 post about PES should be taken seriously, and I for one am taking this as an all-seeing piece of work than a shot in the dark.
Thanks again to Dan and PSM3!

Yep thats right, we have confirmation that friends of the site PSM3 have secured the world exclusive review of PES 2010!
The issue hits tomorrow in the UK, so be sure to pick it up and see what Dan and the guys think of Konami’s latest offering. The header shows a sneak peak of what the packaging looks like.
Also, to add some drama, PSM3 review FIFA 10 in the same issue. Who will win? Only one way to find out…

After a few weeks out I’m back with Suff on the airwaves to talk some more about PES, and everything thats being going on whilst I was away. There’s more Gamescom reaction, and some reaction on last weeks podcast that featured Riot. We also have a few choice words regarding the way the PES 2010 pre-release hype build-up is turning out. Another case of community doing the game more justice than Konami?
Overall an action packed podcast, where myself and Suff don’t hold back with opinions and views – just as you would expect.
Enjoy!

In their latest issue released September 2nd, PSM3 have a fantastic PES 2010 vs FIFA 10 feature, facing off the two games after playing both versions.
Breaking it down to things like gameplay elements to graphics and licenses, the feature details exactly which game is better in each respective field. It’s no quick decision, as the verdict is spread over 6 pages, but in the end PES 2010 came out on top!
Make sure you pick up the magazine for all the details when it hits stands on Wednesday! (And as a bonus, massive COD: MW2 first-play feature!)
