Riot Posts PES2011 Impressions

Great friend of WENB and well renowned and respected freelance video games journalist Thomas Puha aka Riot has posted up a brief little impression of his take on PES2011 at E3….and it sounds like he is one happy man!

Okay. I do not have PES with the years, but today I 2011 and I was totally in flames. The game looks like a different store … much slower tempi, much better animation and a good dynamic between the players at last! RUNNING!

Riot has perhaps not been feeling the ‘PES love’ in recent years but always takes an interest in the franchise and heads up any queue of journalists wishing to review the latest instalment when the time comes. He would always do import reviews of the Winning Eleven games for sites like IGN, Gamespot and 1up amongst others. Taking this on board his positive vibes about PES2011 would appear to be a sign of great things to come.

After a few weeks out I’m back with Suff on the airwaves to talk some more about PES, and everything thats being going on whilst I was away. There’s more Gamescom reaction, and some reaction on last weeks podcast that featured Riot. We also have a few choice words regarding the way the PES 2010 pre-release hype build-up is turning out. Another case of community doing the game more justice than Konami?

Overall an action packed podcast, where myself and Suff don’t hold back with opinions and views – just as you would expect.

But this week we have a special guest in the shape of PES Community legend Thomas Puha aka RIOT. He talks to us about Konami, Seabass, PES 2010 and football gaming in general this season. Its a 56 minute podcast so make sure you got time on your hands!

With Adam away in Milan this week, we had to find an able replacement to fill in the shoes of the “PES Messiah” (cough). So we opened our contact list and dialed 911. The result, a very special guest known to the PES faithful as “Riot“. The podcast should be live in the early hours of Tuesday morning so keep checking this space.
