I know most are over Blue Samurai since the announcement of PES 2011, but that doesn’t mean the collectors in the community (i.e. me) will be deterred from importing it. Therefore, we’ll keep you updated about the title in the run-in to launch.

News just hit on Famitsu that the TV ads and general promoting of the game will include previous Japan coach Phillipe Troussier. Not sure how they came up with that one, maybe he’s just a WE fan, but personally would have loved to see Zico back. Remember him all over the WE games from WE7 to WE10? Legend!

Anyway, get the full scoop on Famitsu, via dodgy google translate, here.

Or should I say WE 2010: Blue Samurai Challenge, or maybe even WE 2010 Aoki Samurai No Chosen. Yep, I like WE 2010 WC better too.

Right now, there seems to be little information on the latest Winning Eleven game, that was announced early last month. Not to say we haven’t been trying our best to find out whats going on with it. Emails sent to a variety of Japanese retailers proved worthless, as the usual “we’ll inform you when we get news” came back everytime.

What I would say, especially for the majority of people in Europe, is keep an eye on Yesasia. As you can probably tell from the header, I’d advise everyone to use them once the game is availble to order. The site has been used before to great success, and in a way wins by default seeing as Play-Asia (trusted by the majority) doesn’t ship PS3 and PSP games to the UK and other parts of Europe.

We’ll keep you informed as soon as we get any details. Seeing as it’s a stand along game rather than an online patch update, it has me very excited.

You read that right, Konami are releasing a new WE game over in Japan in a couple of months! Massive thanks to Hideiker for this!

Reported on the official Japanese site, it states that Konami will be releasing it to coincide with the world cup, and Japan’s ‘year of sport’ initiative.

To get the full details, click here!

Personally, I’m very excited. As a stand alone game, although the focus seems just on a particular game mode, there’s every chance of tweaks and new additions we’ve all been asking for. More details as soon as we get them!

Today Konami updated their official Winning Eleven page with screens and videos, as well as updating the online stores with the demo in the East. Currently there’s a lot of talk about the demo being a tad more polished, but right now thats down to opinion. If you have got a Japanese account on Xbox or PS3, be sure to download it and let us know what you think.

For the videos, click here, and for the pics click here!

Thanks to forum members elrussi and egyptian pes fanboy for the heads up.
