Gamescom has come and gone, and the lucky PSN and PC users now have a demo. Videos and impressions are all over the internet as the community finally get their hands on this year’s game.

It’s been a few weeks since the last podcast, and lot’s of things have happened. Myself and Suffwan try our best to round up everything in this weeks podcast.

Classic PES For PSN/XBLA?

Let’s get the apology out the way first. No, classic PES has not been announced for either PSN or XBLA but I thought the headline would grab peoples attention, so sorry for misleading you guys.

What Konami are doing however is asking the question on their facebook page as to which classic Konami title from the past gamers would like to see on both PSN or XBLA. I figured that with so many saying they would love a remaster of a PES5, or a port of one of the Wii versions(with PS Move support) make it’s way onto either of the current-gen systems, this would be the perfect opportunity to make our feelings known. If they are asking, why not give them an answer in one unified voice and see if it gets us anywhere. It could be the perfect place to plant the idea in their heads short of us having to go through all those Inception shenanigans!

Spread the word and get lobbying!

Power Bar Can Be Turned Off

Jon Murphy has confirmed, via twitter, that the power bar can indeed be turned off via the options menu.

It’s become a talking point since it was announced, with many fans concerned it would diminish the visual look of the game when playing. Most predicted it would be an option to turn off, as there has always been great flexibility when it comes to the GUI in PES. Those guys were indeed correct.

In other news, Konami have released a kit collection to dress your 360 avatar with. More company related than PES, but worth a look with football fever upon us. It’s the World Cup tomorrow!

Wear your colours with pride on Xbox LIVE®!

Dress your Xbox 360 Avatar with the KONAMI Soccer Kit Collection

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed the KONAMI Soccer Kit Collection to offer Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network users the chance to dress their on-screen avatar in their National side’s football fan wear this summer.

Konami is releasing a number of football items, which users can use to dress their Avatar in time for a summer of football. Users can download officially licensed football kits and team wear for the Brazilian, Dutch, French, Australian, English, Spanish, German, New Zealand and Italian national sides, which will then appear as a clothing option within the Avatar menu. Similarly, there will also be a selection of additional themed items including animated balls and banners as well as fan hats and caps – each available in the user’s chosen national colours.

The KONAMI Soccer Kit Collection will be available from June 11^th, with costs varying from 240 Microsoft Points for a shirt, and 320 Microsoft Points for balls and additional items. It will be promoted by Microsoft in their summer of football campaign.

PES 2010 Update Launches!

It’s finally here! By going into the system settings and pressing download, you’ll be greeted to a brand new update for PES 2010 that includes a whole host of new graphical additions – and that elusive roster update!

PES2010 Demo available on XBLA / PSN / PC on September 17th

Accoring to @MrBamber (PR for Jelly Media, Konami’s UK PR arm, or one of them), the PES2010 demo will be available tomorrow, September 17th! Not sure what time yet, but keep your eye out for it from midday onwards – we’ll let you know when it appears.

Let us know on the forums what you think of it when you do get your hands on it – keep in mind that the build may be behind the latest code that we’ve played…

UPDATE: The demo features two club sides; Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona as well as four national sides; Spain, Italy, France and Germany. PESFan have updated their site.

UPDATE 2: Further estimated details have emerged about timings of the demo’s availablility:

PC available approx 9am GMT
Xbox 360 on Live 12pm GMT
PS3 on PSN 5pm GMT
