PES 2012 was a massive step up from 2011, with the only real remaining issues being:

1) Goalkeepers are awful
2) Opponent AI dribble WAY too well, even low-stat players dribbling like super-Messi
3) Defence-lines are TOO well-organised, TOO often, even when under extreme pressure (in real-life, even top teams like Arsenal have moments where the defensive line becomes ruptured, but not in PES for some reason)
4) Catch-up bug slightly remains, with dribbler disadvantaged by speed, but has largely been fixed since last year
5) ML Online: Contracts are a stupid idea - contracts are TOO expensive for amount of gametime you get, there's no point renewing; might as well purchase new players, so your team keeps chopping and changing. Whereas in 2011, you built a team for good, and rarely changed players - made it feel more like YOUR team, rather than a group of players which changes everyday.
6) ML Online: Form-stat system is completely illogical. Form 1 (awful) and Form 8 (excellent) players share the SAME form patterns, just that Form 1 pattern occurs more frequently - a completely illogical way of treating form. Form should be a PROBABILITY-BASED stat again, like 2011 and before (where Form 8 players are MORE LIKELY to have good condition on match-day than Form 1 players; but is ultimately probability-based).
7) Speed Merchants - unrealistic, open to abuse. Need to be removed.
8) Shooting - hit & miss (pardon the pun). Shots too often (even WITH aiming) go straight at the keeper. Shots from range are powerless too often, and chip-shots are unusable.

I'm glad to hear Konami have addressed issues 1, 2, 7 and 8, but I doubt they are intelligent enough to have even noticed the rest.

Some brazilian first division clubs confirmed they signed a contract with Konami... so it's probably in PES 2013... or at least in future games.

I am sure that this last chapter of this generation of consollle will be fantastic. Pes 2012 is already a great game, if you can seize control is sensational, pes 2013 can not be that sublime.
